Drew Rin Varick is a Louisiana native, having been born in LaSalle Parish, and then at age four his family moved to Shreveport. He grew up with the good things of the south, attended church, and enjoyed pastimes of watching television, playing video games and reading.
He decided there was more to life than just holding your cards close, so he stepped out and attended Louisiana Tech University and studied Computer Information Systems. This helped him launch a career in computers. But something nagged at him, and deep in his heart he dreamed of becoming an actor.
Drew had no idea his uniqueness as a proportional dwarf, (less than 1% of dwarfs are proportional) would play handily into this desire. Drew stands 3’ 6” tall and weighs 65 pounds (the famous Billy Barty was 3” taller than Drew!) He certainly didn’t expect that in mid 2006 his dream of an acting career would practically fall into his lap.
